Full Job Description

Are you an aspiring photographer, a content creator, or someone trying to break into the wedding and event industry? Do you love the energy of a great party but want a gig that lets you flex your creative, social muscles?

We are not looking for traditional photo booth attendants. We don't do basic iPads on a stick. We specialize in high-end, editorial-style Gala and Glam Photo Experiences that blur the line between professional event photography and the high-energy, relaxed silliness of a photo booth.

We are looking for Event & Experience Hosts who can bring the vibe, handle high-end gear, and keep a crowd hyped. If you’ve dabbled in photography, want to gain experience around weddings, or just love being the coordinator of a fun experience, this is for you. We provide all equipment and full professional training.

About Us

For over 6 years, EPic Event Photo Booths has been the premier name in premium event entertainment. We’ve brought high-end experiences to hundreds of events across Wisconsin—ranging from intimate backyard birthday parties and luxury weddings to elite corporate holiday parties for Fortune 500 companies and exclusive events for NFL players. Our dedication to flawless execution has earned us multiple industry awards and a flawless reputation built on 5-star reviews.

Because we are growing rapidly, we have immediate openings for independent, energetic individuals to help us maintain this standard of excellence.

What the Gig Looks Like

This is fast-paced, independent gig work primarily on Friday nights and Saturdays. Events range from 4-hour school dances to 12-hour wedding marathons.

  • The Routine: You’ll drive to our Wausau office, load the professional gear into your vehicle, transport it to the venue, and set it up solo.

  • The Event: You are the host. You direct the guests, suggest poses, manage the professional lighting/DSLR setups, and keep the energy high.

  • The Wrap: You tear down the equipment safely, bring it back to our Wausau office, and get paid weekly.

Who You Are (Requirements)

  • The Right Vibe: Outgoing, highly relatable, and effortlessly professional. You need to look the part at a luxury wedding and be able to confidently command a room.

  • The Mindset: A sharp, independent thinker. You will usually work solo. When layout plans change or technical hitches happen, you don't panic—you solve the problem and go with the flow.

  • Location: Must live within 20 miles of Wausau, WI to facilitate equipment pickup and drop-off.

  • Age: Must be 18 or older (21+ preferred for venue and insurance access).

  • Logistics: Valid driver’s license and a reliable, spacious vehicle capable of transporting large equipment cases.

  • Physical Stamina: This is an active, physical job. You must be able to lift and carry 50–60 lbs routinely and stand on your feet engaging with guests for long periods (up to 12 hours for major events).

  • Trustworthy: Must be able to pass a basic background check for security-sensitive corporate and school venues.

Why Team Up With Us?

  • Work with high-end gear and receive professional training—great resume builder for aspiring creatives.

  • Excellent pay ($20–$30/hr average per event) with fast, weekly direct deposit.

  • Fun, dynamic environments where you are treated like a professional partner, not just a warm body.
